Q. My contact email address has changed. What should I do?

Q. I get the error message 'The email address you have provided could not be found in our system. If you have not already registered for Student Self Service access, click the link on this page. Please check that you have typed in your details correctly and try again'. My details are correct, what should I do?
Please check that the title under the blue stripe is 'Create an Account' and not 'Forgotten Password'.
Q. I get the error message 'Unable to verify data you have entered against data held in the database', what should I do?
The message means that there is a mismatch between the data you are entering to create an account and the data in the system. The most common mismatch is caused by dates - please enter dates in the order day, month, year. If you are still having problems please send a screenshot of the information you are entering as an attachment to the Contact Form.
Q. How can I find my identification number?
Your identification number is included in your initial invitation to register but you can also use any one of the following:
Undergraduates: UCAS Personal Identification Number
PGCE Students: GTTR Personal Identification Number
Postgraduate Students: Applicant ID (also known as Student ID)
PACE, CISL, Foe PPD and CULP students: Use the Identification number provided in the invitation email which is your Unique Student Number (USN)
