The tuition fees you pay for your course depends on whether you are a Home or international student. A Home student, who pays the tuition fees set by the UK government, is resident and settled in the UK. Please visit the Fees status glossary and the Fees Q&A page for more information. A non-repayable payment made to support a student’s education on the basis of academic achievement and/or financial need. A full scholarship/bursary includes tuition fees and maintenance. Extra scholarships and awards are also available.
Financial support for living costs. The maintenance portion of a scholarship/bursary is assigned to pay for living costs.
Non-repayable financial awards usually to allow a student to study or conduct research.
Repayable financial support often from a government to cover financial costs of studying, including both tuition fees and maintenance. You might be able to have a student loan even if you are not from the UK.
