These Instructions are for students studying one of the following:
- Undergraduate level study with Professional and Continuing Education – PACE (formerly ICE)
- Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL)
- Practitioner Professional Development at the Faculty of Education (FoE)
- Language Courses at the University Language Centre (CULP)
Important Note: Cambridge Student Self-Service
Cambridge Student Self-Service is not available to you. Instead, you will have access to a temporary version of Student Self-Service, whilst you complete the Student Registration Exercise. If during the completion of the Student Registration Exercise you see any reference to the ability to change information at a later date ‘in Cambridge Student Self-Service’ please instead contact your course Administrator in these situations.
If you are a new student or an existing student starting a new course
We recommend using a laptop or tablet for registration. It will be easier to use your mobile phone to scan the QR code on the screen when you’re asked to set up two-factor authentication.

Once you have completed registration, you will see a link to collect your University IT account. You do not need to do this if you already have an active University IT account.
Your University IT account gives you access to your @cam email address and Microsoft 365 software.
If you are an existing student continuing the same course and can remember your details
If you cannot remember any of the details below, please follow the instructions for new students above.
Your Username will be the email address we used to contact you about registration, and the password will be the password you used when you created your registration account. Please do not use the ‘Login using Raven’ link, as this will not work for you.
If you have forgotten your password, please click on the ‘Forgotten Password’ link on the Student Registration Login site. You will then be emailed a temporary password to enable you to log on and work through the Registration screens.
