Q. How can I find my identification number?

Your identification number is one of the following:

Undergraduates: UCAS Personal Identification Number

PGCE Students: GTTR Personal Identification Number

Postgraduate Students: Applicant ID (also known as Student ID)

The identification number is usually nine digit long and beginning with a 3.

If you are still unsure, then please use the Contact Form to get in touch.

Q. I am a new international undergraduate student but do not have a UCAS number. What should I do?

Please get in touch with Student Registration using the Contact Form.

Q. I am going to start a Postgraduate course but the system does not recognise my ID number. What should I do?

Please make sure that you are using your Unique Student Number (also known as Applicant ID), not your application number- they were both sent to you in the same email (apart from ICE and Judge Students).

Q. I get the error message 'Unable to verify data you have entered against data held in the database', what should I do?

The message means that there is a mis-match between the data you are entering to create an account and the data in the system. The most common mis-match is caused by dates- please enter dates in the order day, month, year.  If you are still having problems please send a screenshot of the information you are entering as an attachment to the Contact Form.
