The exam timetables are set using dates laid out in Statutes and Ordinances and in consultation with departments and faculties.
Published exam timetables are available at Exam Timetables . They are published as early as possible, and no later than four weeks before the start of the examination.
Every attempt is made to ensure that exam papers are distributed equitably, but timetabling constraints are such that an individual student may require having two exams in one day, possibly in different sites and / or having exams bunched into consecutive days.
A personal timetable showing your own papers and dates, times and location at which they will take place will be sent to you at college approximately four weeks before the examination starts. Please take care that you note the details accurately. If you have not received your timetable, or discover any problems such as a clash of papers, contact your college as soon as possible.
You can view the exam timetable in several places:
- Online here
- Via CamSIS self-service – click on ‘Examination timetable’ in self-service – note this is only available for the main exams in the Easter term
- You will be issued with your own personalised timetable called an ‘Examination Confirmation Form’ or ‘ECF’ prior to your exams via your college. This shows the time and location of all of your exam
